While you won't own the land (except in rare cases), mobile and manufactured homes more accessible and affordable. But remember, there's a monthly space rent that goes towards park upkeep and amenities.  Prices vary by park, so factor that into your budget.

BONUS TIP:  What's the difference mobile home vs. manufactured home?   Mobile homes (pre-1976) were built primarily as recreational vehicles,  & may not meet modern codes. Manufactured homes (post-1976) are built to federal safety standards & offer a more permanent living solution. Homes built after 1976, tend to be easier to obtain financing.
